Are your tools really free?
Yes — all 17+ tools on 8era are completely free to use with no sign-up, no account, and no usage limits. We sustain the service through unobtrusive advertising.
Do you store my files?
No. Most tools process files entirely inside your browser — your files never leave your device. For the few tools that use server processing (Word ↔ PDF, Unlock PDF, Protect PDF), uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing and are never stored or logged.
I found a bug — what should I do?
Please email us at [email protected] with a brief description of the issue, which tool you were using, and your browser/OS. We take bug reports seriously and typically respond within 48 hours.
Can I request a new tool?
Absolutely. Drop us an email with your idea — we prioritise new tools based on user demand.
